In Memory of Jacek Pszczoła
It is with deep sadness that we received the news of the passing of Jacek Pszczoła, an outstanding player representing our Foundation.
On April 25th, after a severe illness, the beloved „Pepsi” passed away. He was an absolutely phenomenal figure, recognized as one of the greatest masters in the history of world bridge.
Jacek was a multi-medalist of the World and European Championships and a multiple Polish Champion, but it was his career in the United States that made him a global legend. For years, he dominated the American bridge scene, winning numerous National titles (NABC) and the prestigious Bermuda Bowl. The pinnacle of his career came in 2019, when he was named the ACBL Player of the Year – the highest possible distinction in the world of professional bridge.

We have lost not only a brilliant player, whose intuition at the table was legendary, but above all, a wonderful, energetic person and a dear friend. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
Rest in peace, Master and friend.
We encourage you to read the tribute to Jacek by Marek Wójcicki [Link/See more].
